Question 1

What is 90Day.app?

Accepted Answer

90Day.app is a comprehensive fitness transformation platform built on the science of habit formation. Over 90 days, you'll build sustainable healthy habits through three phases: Foundation (Days 1-30), Building (Days 31-60), and Mastery (Days 61-90). The app combines workout tracking, AI-powered nutrition planning, habit tracking, and community accountability to help you achieve lasting change.

Question 2

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Simply create an account and complete our onboarding wizard. You'll set your goals, choose your fitness level, select dietary preferences, upload a Day 1 photo, and pick your journey start date. The app will then create a personalized 90-day plan tailored to your age, goals, and preferences.

Question 3

What happens after 90 days?

Accepted Answer

Completing your first 90 days is just the beginning! After finishing a cycle, you can start a new 90-day journey with fresh goals. Each cycle builds on the habits you've formed, letting you tackle new challenges or deepen your progress. Your history, badges, and achievements carry forward, and you can view past cycles anytime. Many users find the second and third cycles even more impactful as they've mastered the fundamentals.

Question 4

Is 90Day.app suitable for beginners?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Our workouts are designed for all fitness levels. During onboarding, you'll select your current fitness level, and all recommendations will be adjusted accordingly. We especially cater to users over 50 with age-appropriate workouts focusing on joint health, flexibility, and sustainable intensity.

Question 5

Can I use the app on mobile?

Accepted Answer

Yes! 90Day.app is fully responsive and works beautifully on all devices - smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers. Access your dashboard, log workouts, and connect with your team from anywhere.

Question 6

What is the Goal-Pricing model?

Accepted Answer

Goal-Pricing is the refundable alternative to the $19/month membership. You pay $90 upfront and can receive it back after completing your journey with the required daily check-ins, subject to the one-time missed-day and illness courtesies.

Question 7

How do I qualify for the refund?

Accepted Answer

Sign in and record at least one workout, completed habit, or meal on each day of your 90-day journey, except for days covered by your one-time cheat-day credit or illness courtesy. If you continue after illness, the missed days are added to your journey. Eligible refunds are processed after you complete your journey.

Question 8

What if I miss a day?

Accepted Answer

If you miss exactly one day, the app warns you and automatically uses your one-time cheat-day credit. Your $90 refund remains possible if you resume checking in daily. The credit covers only one day, not a week or more, and cannot be used twice. If you miss more days without an available credit or illness courtesy, the $90 commitment is no longer refundable, though you can keep going.

Question 9

What if I was sick and missed several days?

Accepted Answer

When you return, the app asks whether you were sick. If you missed up to 14 days and have not used the one-time illness courtesy, you can continue where you left off with the missed days added to the end, or restart from Day 1 while keeping your logged history. Either option can preserve refund eligibility if you check in daily afterward. An absence of more than 14 days is not covered. If only one day was missed and your cheat-day credit is available, that credit is applied automatically first.

Question 10

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

You can preview the app before paying. Both the $19/month membership and the $149/year annual plan include a 14-day free trial; the refundable $90 Goal-Pricing option does not.

Question 11

What does it cost for a group or organization?

Accepted Answer

Group pricing is charged per person, per year, and drops as the group grows: $99 each for 2–5 people, $79 each for 6–9, $59 each for 10–50, and $39 each for 51 or more. You can pay for your whole group on the pricing page, or contact us if you need an invoice or help with a coordinated launch.

Question 12

Can a team or organization get the $90 refund?

Accepted Answer

No — the refundable $90 Goal-Pricing is for individual plans only. Group and organization plans are not refundable. Instead, teams of 5 or more where every single member completes the full 90 days (with the same daily check-in, one-time missed-day credit and illness courtesy rules as individuals) earn a surprise gift for the whole team.

Question 13

How does the AI diet planning work?

Accepted Answer

Our AI analyzes your profile - age, weight, fitness goals, dietary preferences (vegan, keto, paleo, etc.), and activity level - to generate personalized daily meal plans. Each plan includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and specific pre/post workout nutrition. The AI adapts recommendations as you progress through the three phases.

Question 14

What dietary restrictions are supported?

Accepted Answer

We support all major dietary preferences including: Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Keto, Paleo, Gluten-Free, and Dairy-Free. During onboarding, you select your preferences, and all meal recommendations will respect these choices.

Question 15

Are the workouts personalized too?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Workout recommendations consider your age, fitness level, available time, and preferred activities. Users over 50 get specialized recommendations focusing on joint health, flexibility, and anti-inflammatory exercises. The intensity progressively increases through each phase.

Question 16

What are meal prep reminders?

Accepted Answer

Our meal prep reminder system notifies you the day before about upcoming meals you need to prepare. If you have a workout scheduled, it includes specific pre and post-workout meal suggestions. Reminders are personalized based on your age and dietary needs.

Question 17

How do I generate my 90-day meal plan?

Accepted Answer

Tap 'Generate my 90-day meal plan' on your dashboard, Today screen, or Nutrition page. You'll answer a few questions first - calorie and protein targets (pre-filled from your body details), allergies (required, for safety), foods you dislike, eating style, budget, and cooking time. You then preview all 90 days before saving. Once saved, today's meals appear right on your dashboard.

Question 18

How do I schedule workouts?

Accepted Answer

Every workout in the library has a 'Schedule' button - pick a date and it becomes your workout for that day. Or use 'Build my weekly schedule' to set up the next 7 days at once, switching days to rest or swapping in different workouts. The dashboard, Today screen, and calendar always show the same plan.

Question 19

What can the AI coach do?

Accepted Answer

Open an AI trainer and tap 'Say Hi', 'Motivate Me', or 'Celebrate'. The coach uses your streak, recent workouts, goals, and gym to give a short spoken message - great before a workout, mid-streak, or after a milestone. There's also an AI video coach, a talking avatar that guides you through sessions hands-free.

Question 20

How do I work with a human coach?

Accepted Answer

Browse the Trainer Directory, send a coaching request, and message your coach in the app once they accept. Payments for coaching are arranged directly with the coach. Coaches only see your logs, streaks, and check-ins with your permission.

Question 21

I'm a trainer - how do I coach on 90Day?

Accepted Answer

Choose 'Coach or trainer' at sign-up, or go to Trainers and tap 'Register as Trainer'. Add your bio, experience, certifications, specialties, and rates. Once an admin approves your profile, you get a coach dashboard with your client roster, their logs and streaks (with permission), in-app messaging, and wholesale access codes you can offer clients at a discount. You use the same login for your own 90-day journey.

Question 22

What does it cost to coach on 90Day?

Accepted Answer

Nothing to join or list your profile. You set your own rates. If members pay you directly, there's no fee from us. If they pay through 90Day, a 15% service fee covers payment processing, invoicing, and dispute support.

Question 23

How do coaching reviews work?

Accepted Answer

Only a coach's own clients can leave a star rating and review, so every review is from a real client. Coaches can turn ratings and reviews off on their profile from their dashboard settings if they prefer.

Question 24

How are coaches vetted?

Accepted Answer

Every coach application is reviewed by our team, typically within 5 business days (up to 2 weeks). We look for a current, recognized fitness or health certification, at least one year of coaching experience, a complete profile, and professional conduct. Coaches whose credentials we've confirmed carry a Verified badge on their profile.

Question 25

What does 'Fully booked' mean on a coach's profile?

Accepted Answer

Coaches control their own availability. When a coach switches off 'Taking new clients', their profile shows as Fully booked and new coaching requests are paused. Existing clients can still message them.

Question 26

Can my organization use 90Day for employees?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Organization leads create a company workspace, add teams, and invite members by email or a shareable invitation link (90day.app/join/code). People who sign up through that link join the group plan with no upfront cost. Leads see participation summaries, never private health details.

Question 27

How do teams work?

Accepted Answer

Teams allow 5-8 people to do the 90-day journey together. Team members can join anytime during another member's journey - you don't all need to start on Day 1 together. Teams feature shared activity feeds, team challenges, and encouragement through cheers and reactions.

Question 28

Can I add friends individually?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Beyond teams, you can add individual friends to your network. Friends can see each other's progress, send encouragement, and even direct message each other within the app. It's accountability made personal.

Question 29

How do I schedule a workout or activity with a friend?

Accepted Answer

Open the Activities screen (use the 'With friends' button in your quick menu) and create an activity - pick the type (walk, run, gym session, and more), set the date, time, and location, add a note, and invite your friends. Invited friends see the invitation, can accept or decline, and everyone can see who's coming. Each person can also tap 'Add to calendar' to save it to Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar. See the full walkthrough on our Work Out Together page.

Question 30

What about privacy?

Accepted Answer

You control what you share. Your progress, photos, and metrics are private by default. You choose what to share with teams and friends. Journey photos are never public - they're only visible to you unless you explicitly share them.

Question 31

Can companies use 90Day.app?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We offer a company tier where businesses can create multiple teams within a single organization. Company admins can invite members via email or invite codes, manage roles, and view company-wide analytics. It's perfect for corporate wellness programs.

Question 32

How does the photo timeline work?

Accepted Answer

You can upload photos on any day of your 90-day journey to document your transformation. The photo timeline creates a visual record of your progress, making it easy to see changes that might not be obvious day-to-day. Your Day 1 photo is uploaded during onboarding.

Question 33

What health metrics can I track?

Accepted Answer

The app tracks weight, blood pressure (systolic/diastolic), resting heart rate, and VO2 max estimates. You'll see trend charts with reference lines showing healthy ranges. You can also set a target weight to track progress toward your goal.

Question 34

How does streak tracking work?

Accepted Answer

Every day you complete activities, your streak grows. The app tracks both current streak and longest streak, awards points, and unlocks badges at milestones. Visual celebrations (confetti!) mark achievements. Streaks are a powerful motivator to maintain consistency.

Question 35

What are weekly summaries?

Accepted Answer

Every Sunday, you receive a comprehensive summary of your week - workouts completed, active minutes, habits logged, streak progress, and goal updates. These summaries are sent via email and also available in-app anytime so you can review your progress.

Question 36

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We take data security seriously. All data is encrypted, and we're GDPR and CCPA compliant. You can export all your personal data anytime through the Privacy & Data settings. Your health information is never sold or shared with third parties.

Question 37

Is there a medical disclaimer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 90Day.app is not a replacement for medical advice. We require all users to acknowledge that they should consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new fitness program. Users must be 18 or older to use the platform.

Question 38

How do I get support?

Accepted Answer

Visit our Support page to submit a ticket, or use the in-app help features. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. For urgent issues, priority support is available.

Question 39

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

If you're in the Goal-Pricing program, remember that completion earns your refund. If you need to cancel for medical or emergency reasons, contact our support team to discuss options.
